1. Bring staff and Ph.D. students together and sharing professional experiences and new findings in Ph.D. teaching, research, development, innovation, and design in the field of mechanical engineering, materials and mechatronics

2. Foster dialogue among Ph.D. students from TUL and UiS and experts from universities and research institutions and representatives of companies. 

3. Explore opportunities for future sustainable collaboration between the two institutions
