Project: Collaboration in the execution of doctoral study programs focusing on mechanical engineering, materials and mechatronics
Technical University of Liberec and University of Stavanger (2014 - 2016)

Project Activities

  Project Seminar, Stavanger (Dec. 2015)

1. Summer school
    for PhD students

2. Individual visits
   - Academic staff

3. Individual visits
   - PhD students

4. Seminar at UiS

5. Seminar at TUL

  Themes of the Seminar

    - The scientific programme focused on the issues of mechanical engineering, materials and mechatronics, covered equally by both project partners - Technical University of Liberec and University of Stavanger. Lectures by staff and experts and Ph.D. student presentations were conducted to provide a basis for further collaboration in education in doctoral programmes as well as in science and research. The selection criterion for lecture/presentation topics was to create potential synergistic effects.

    - The Seminar was attended by academic and administrative staff providing the doctoral programme in their countries. Visit to workshops and laboratories were also conducted.
