FILTER COEFFICIENTS

This directory contains the filter coefficients for several discrete time
filters with the perfect or almost perfect reconstruction property
(for a treatment of the perfect reconstruction property, see A. N. Akansu
and R. A. Haddad "Multiresolution signal decomposition: transforms,
subbands, wavelets", Academic Press, 1992).

The i*.dat files are IIR filter coefficient files, the f*.dat files are FIR
filter coefficient files, while the w*.dat are wavelet FIR filter coefficient
files. 

For all FIR files, the number on the first line indicates the number
of filter taps. Several of the FIR filters have a symmetric impulse response,
so only the first half of the coefficients have to be specified. To indicate
whether all or only the first half of the coefficients are given, a negative
number indicates that all coefficients are given while a positive number
indicates that only the first half is given.
