| 30Aug05 | Adjustment of specialization in drilling The compulsory course MPE500 Well operations has now been replaced by MPE240 Well completions taught by Claas van der Zwaag. MPE500 is now an elective for specialization in drilling. This change has been implemented in your individual study plans, and you need to reconfirm to be registered for the exam in MPE240 and get access to the course on it's learning. If due to Svalex or otherwise you have been unable to reconfirm via StudWeb within the deadline for registration, September 1, please notify the Pet.Eng.Dep. administration and it will be done manually. |

| 3Aug05 | Problems with course registration
Some of you have had problems to register for some of the Fall semester courses. It turns out that if a course description contains other courses listed under Prerequisites, the student computer system treats this literally and does not allow registration unless the prerequisite course have been passed. This prolem should be fixed early next week. |
