Alif,

Looking at the course description, both MPE270 Reservoir simulation 1 and
MPE510 PVT-analysis are listed under Prerequisites. The intention is, I
guess, to point out that MPE270 and MPE510 should be taken before or in
parallel to Reservoir Simulation 2. However, the student computer system,
it turns out, considers a prerequisite as an absolute requirement and does
not allow students to register unless such a course has been passed. I
have agreed with the student computer system specialist Tor Erga to
downgrade courses categorized as Prerequisites to Recommended
Prerequisites to alleviate this problem, and this should be in effect
early next week. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Dear Mr. Svein,

I'd like to ask about registration for reservoir simulation 2. It's
written in StudentWeb that the requirement is Reservoir simulation 1.Since
we're just about to take reservoir simulation 1 this semester, I wonder if
that's mean we can't take it this year or there's something wrong with my
data. Because every time i tried to register for that course, it's always
said that I'm not eligible to take it.
