The intention is, I guess, to point out that MPE270 and MPE510 should be taken before or in parallel to Reservoir Simulation 2. However, the student computer system, it turns out, considers a prerequisite as an absolute requirement and does not allow students to register unless such a course has been passed. I have agreed with the student computer system specialist Tor Erga to downgrade courses categorized as Prerequisites to Recommended Prerequisites to alleviate this problem, and this should be in effect early next week.
