Our research focuses on the interplay between Cosmology (Big Bang model, inflation in the Early Universe, Baryogenesis, Dark Matter) and High-Energy physics (particle physics, quantum field theory, Standard Model), as well as mathematical questions in General Relativity.


We study the physics of the very Early Universe using analytic, but also numerical methods, employing large scale High-Performance Computing to simulate the behavior of quantum fields at very high temperatures in and out of thermal equilibrium.
