a relative (s) in Nowy Sacz....Vladislawa Mrozek and family --- I do not

My grandfather Antoni Stempkowski we believe came from Nowy Sacz
around 1910 through Baltimore harbor and settled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
USA. He had six sons (Casimir, Steve, Stanley, Eugene, Edmund, Joseph and
Thomas) and two daughters (Helen and Sophie). He died in the 1960's in
Pittsburgh. I am trying to trace our family history. He never spoke of
Poland and did not keep in contact, supposedly because of fear of being
deported during World War II because he served in the Polish army as a
young boy. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

My grandfather, Joseph K. Bernacki, came to America in the early
1900's, settling in Connecticut. Our family history stops with him. The
story states he had disowned his family when he arrived here because of
his shame of being a "poor dirt farmer." My father never related family
history and he has passed away. There's not any one who is readily available
nor willing to share family history. Perhaps you can help find a connection.
