UiS
SUBSEA is a student team (organisation) established in 2013/14 to promote "Learn to Win" philosophy at UiS. The team will represent Norway for the first time and participate on underwater robot competition also ROV competition organized by Marine Technology (MATE) Society. The competition exposes students to challenges of implementing knowledge from science, technology, engineering and mathematics and prepare them for a technical career.
The founding team of this academic year comprises of
- 6 Mechanical Engineering students
- 6 Electronincs (Electrical) Engineering students
- 2 Computer Science students

UiS Subsea vant Pulpit-prisen:
Studentforeningen UiS Subsea er tildelt Pulpitprisen 2014 for sitt arbeid med å utvikle en fjernstyrt undervanns farkost (ROV).Prisen ble delt ut i Stavanger konserthus torsdag 18. september, 2014.
