The article outlines the general scientific concepts of the Super Wide Band Acoustic Technology (SWAT) which were especially developed as the part of the Eureka-project SWAT between Simrad Norge AS and MSIA Spectrum, the first Eureka-cooperation between Russia and Norway.
As the design example of the Super Wide Band Signal the sounding signal of frequency band from 4 kHz to 18 kHz is considered in this article. Such signal is formed by means of the array which consists from the group of different broad band elements covering adjacent frequency band. Each transducer can be interpreted as the resonance linear system that can be described by means of the differential equation of the second order.
