Proofreading of camera-ready manuscripts
CloudCom publisher Springer Verlag has informed us of the importance of maintaining a good English language quality of papers published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series. Thus, we request that authors of accepted papers arrange to have their final versions proof-read by a native English speaker. If you do not have access to native English speakers, you may purchase proofreading services from a professional language consultant. For your convenience, we include some links to such services below:

Install an EasyChair Account for Submission
We recommend that authors open an EasyChair account some time before the submission deadline. Accounts from previous conferences can be reused to submit to CloudCom.


Authors who never used Easychair before should proceed as follows:
   1. Go to CloudCom 2009 submission server (https://www.easychair.org/login.cgi?conf=cloudcom2009).
   2. Select "I have no EasyChair account".
   3. Fill the form including first name, last name, secret word, email address.
   4. DO NOT FORGET to type the two words in the Captcha box above the form.
   5. You will receive an email giving further instructions to finish registration.
   6. At this point, you need to remember your secret word.


After opening an account, you can submit as follows:
   1. Go to CloudCom 2009 submission server (https://www.easychair.org/login.cgi?conf=cloudcom2009).
   2. Type your login and password.
   3. Your screen should now display "CloudCom 2009 (author)" followed by menu items.
   4. Click on "New submission".
   5. Fill the form and upload paper.
After submission, you can manage your papers using the "Overview" menu item.


Submission Rules for Author
   1. The submission must be original work that has not been published.
   2. Submissions should be in the form of a full paper of at most 12 pages in LNCS style. When submitting your paper, please also provide an abstract in the appropriate submission field. Accepted paper with extra pages will be charged at USD$100 per extra page on registration.

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to authors by Sept. 1st, 2009. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be presented at the conference.


Submission Style
Accepted papers should be submitted with the camera ready manuscripts, the source files for generating the camera ready manuscripts, and the copyright forms. For latex users, the source files typically include the tex files and the related graphics. For Word users, the source files typically include the doc files. The camera ready manuscripts should be formatted according to the Springer LNCS Style. You can visit Springer's LNCS webpage www.springer.com/lncs where nearly all information relevant to contributing authors regarding the LNCS print/electronic publication process can be found.

   1. ForWord 97-2003 users, the package word.zip contains general instructions and examples for preparing submission with latex.
   2. For LaTeX users, the package llncs.zip contains general instructions and examples for preparing submission with latex.
